Several future updates are planned for Dragonkin: The Banished. At the launch of Early Access, some endgame content will be available, including hunting boards, modifiers, dungeons, and bosses across two environments. In spring, the game will receive new skills for all three classes, more endgame content, including a new environment, a new activity called Test of Will, and new city features. During summer, a new class called the Tracker will be added, along with further skills, endgame content, and city upgrades.

The autumn update will introduce online multiplayer to Dragonkin: The Banished, along with additional skills for all four classes available by then and more city features. Nearly a year of new content will be added throughout Early Access, continuously improving and refining the game ahead of its full release.

Regarding the RPG itself, Dragonkin: The Banished is set in a world corrupted by dragon blood. The game blends solo and cooperative gameplay for up to four players (available only in autumn 2025). Players can choose from four distinct heroes with unique abilities and explore diverse environments filled with monsters, resources, and challenges. The gameplay strongly resembles the style seen in Diablo IV, with plenty of dungeon crawling and loot collecting.

One of the key gameplay mechanics in Dragonkin: The Banished is the Ancestral Grid, a skill board that allows players to craft their own talent trees by strategically placing fragments obtained during gameplay. This system offers limitless combinations, ensuring each hero has a unique combat style. Another major highlight is The City, humanity's last bastion. This evolving hub allows players to upgrade equipment, interact with NPCs, and personalize their experience with visual enhancements.

Dragonkin: The Banished will launch in Early Access on Steam on March 6. The final version will also be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
