Control has been one of the main topics in the video games world with its reveals for the past few weeks. Remedy has announced that the upcoming supernatural third-person action game will have two post-launch expansions with the first one possibly releasing in winter and the second one arriving early next year. Thomas Puha, Remedy’s communication director added to the announcement that there will also be "content in-between the main game and the expansion." However, Puha said that their main goal is to get Control out in the world and make it as good as it can be. Players can be sure that Remedy isn’t leaving any content out from the game to sell it off as DLC later on. We’ve all heard about this at the Game Developers Conference but it has been officially confirmed by the communication director himself.
Control challenges the players to know the nooks and crannies of the game. The game is filled with tons of combinations of natural abilities, modifiable loadouts, and reactive environments. So far, Control has been very promising and many are excitedly waiting for August to come. Even with influences from the previous Remedy titles, it still has a certain touch of freshness and uniqueness to it. Control is set to launch on August 27th, 2019 exclusively on Epic Store for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
