Despite being announced as one of the great games of 2023, Forspoken didn't quite hit the nail. The game presents a number of issues at launch that do not allow some players to enjoy Frey Holland's adventure in Athia as intended. This is a particularly annoying matter on a game that is so demanding on hardware requirements. You would expect for it performance to be outstanding on superior configurations, but Forspoken fails to deliver for one reason or another. Luminous Productions has already started to tackle those issues with several updates, but the problems are not completely fixed yet. The studio has acknowledged that and promises to make amends as soon as possible.
Head of Studio and Director of Forspoken Takeshi Aramaki has published a statement where he apologizes and reveals that the studio is committed to working on the game until it delivers the appropriate experience.
"We've been listening to all your feedback and are hard at work on an upcoming patch that will include improvements to overall performance, graphics, playability, and general updates and fixes to the game content across PS5 and various PC hardware configurations."
"We are committed to making Forspoken the most enjoyable experience possible and will provide an update about the timing of the next patch as soon as possible. We appreciate your continued support and patience."
Forspoken owners can expect a huge patch to be released anytime soon. The extra work on polishing the game may have a negative impact on the release of Forspoken's first DLC, but the studio has not said a word on that matter. In any case, if you are yet to discover this adventure, the best price to buy a Forspoken PC key is available at our comparator.
