When Square Enix announced Forspoken, the game looked like a solid enough adventure with a very interesting storyline as a background that rapidly caught the interest of many players. Taking the role of Frey Holland, a young woman that suddenly finds herself transported from New York City to the strange and beautiful world of Athia looks like a challenging experience. It gets even more interesting when you learn that she is accompanied by a sentient bracelet that guides her and lets her use powerful magic spells. She will soon discover that Athia is controlled by a tyrannical group known as the Tantas. With a whole world to discover and a firm determination to return home, Frey will face the adventure of her life in Forspoken.
No matter how cool the story in Forspoken is or how amazing its graphics are, the development of the game seems to be more problematic than expected. The release of the game has already been subject to a delay this year, and developer Luminous Productions has just announced that it won't be ready for the appointed release date. Despite being in the polishing phase and with all the game elements finished, the launch date of forspoken has been moved to January 24, 2023.
