A country’s announcement of an age rating provides a clue that the release date for God of War: Ragnarok is arriving sooner than we think.
The General Commission for Audiovisual Media, Saudi Arabia’s rating board, has awarded an age rating of 18 for the hotly-anticipated game, even tweeting it on its official page.

This doesn't imply that the board had access to the whole thing, as boards typically rely on the publisher for the actual content of the game. But it does imply that enough of the game has been developed to provide an accurate assessment.
To clarify, no release date has been officially announced for Ragnarok. But the information we got hopefully means that the game is closer to completion than we realize—possibly even September, if a leaked date from a retailer is to be believed.
