Grand Cathay is ready for Total War: Warhammer III

Grand Cathay is ready for Total War: Warhammer III

We had the opportunity to watch some of Grand Cathay's armies in a previous Total War: Warhammer III video, but the eastern empire is so vast that there is a lot more to discover. Creative Assembly allows us to watch all the might of the troops under the command of the Celestial Dragon Empire in a new video. The mighty troops from Grand Cathay will prove to be fierce enough to face the perils of the Realm of Chaos. Fire-breathing dragon artillery, countless heavy infantry units, gigantic terracotta warriors, and powerful sorcerers of dragon lineage are just the tip of the iceberg, and you can watch them in action against the demonic forces.

What else does Total War: Warhammer III include?

As the release date of Total War: Warhammer III gets closer, we know more things about the different factions in the game. Still, Creative Assembly has to introduce some of the armies under the command of the Dark Gods, and we may have the opportunity of watching them in action soon.

One of the big questions about Total War: Warhammer III is how it will handle demons, which should be the most common type of troop in the armies of Nurgle, Tzeentch, Slaanesh, and Khorne. The campaign in the game will likely have us traveling to the Realm of Chaos to take the fight against the Ruinous Powers to their territory, but it's hard to imagine how the usual army management mechanics will apply to the demonic forces if you are to control them at any point in the game. It would be a waste to have four mighty armies that players cannot command in Total War: Warhammer III, so we are sure that Creative Assembly will find a way. After all, plenty of players would love to take over the Old World at the head of an army of demons.

We will have to wait a bit longer to find out the answer. Meanwhile, you can compare prices for your favorite games on our website, including Total War: Warhammer, Total War: Warhammer II, and of course, Total War: Warhammer III
