Heroes of Might and Magic is one of the greatest turn-based strategy series of all time. Millions of fans have played as one of the iconic heroes in its games and embarked on an epic adventure combining exploration, exciting battles, resource management and building. Inspired by the popular RPG series Might and Magic but taking place in a different world, Heroes of Might and Magic has been present in the libraries of the genre's fans for almost 30 years with its seven installments. The last installment in the series was released in 2015 but the most popular and the one that gave the series its renown is no other than Heroes of Might and Magic 3, which was even remade with HD graphics in a more recent version.

Reborn from the ashes

On the occassion of the 30th anniversary of the series, Ubisoft will bring it back with Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era will feature an exciting campaign and several gameplay modes that will delight the fans of the series allowing them to immerse once more in their favourite universe. The game will also feature a detailed map editor for players to create their own adventures and share them with others.

"An epic campaign set on the mysterious continent of Jadame where rival factions must forge fragile alliances to face the Hive — a swarm of insectoids corrupted by an Inferno demon lord hell-bent on subjugating the world", reads the official description of the game. "Choose from a roster of unique factions mixing returning fan favourites and brand-new creations, each with their unique gameplay style, creatures and heroes and unique faction abilities: Temple (Classic Humans), Necropolis (Undead and Vampires), Sylvan (The Forces of Nature and Fey Folks), Dungeon (Dark Elves and Underground Creatures), Hive (Demonic Insectoids), and a mysterious sixth faction to be revealed later."
