Horizon Forbidden West gets a new update

Guerrilla Games is working hard to get Horizon Forbidden West as close to perfection as possible. Despite being one of the major releases of this year on PlayStation, the game still suffers from a series of minor issues that the developers are trying to fix. There's nothing game-breaking, but the developers want to get the game in as good shape as Horizon Zero Dawn, its predecessor, which has been praised by critics and players and is one of the flagship titles for Sony's consoles.

Patch 1.10 and 1.11

Horizon Forbidden West already received a patch last week. It focused on fixing errors and enhancing graphical performance. The new update includes a wide range of changes, from UI enhancements to improvements to the AI. In fact, this update combines Patch 1.10 and 1.11, and you can find a detailed list of the changes in the patch notes that have been published on Reddit. On the gameplay side, the patch brings some balance changes to legendary weapons and fixes some upgrading issues with the Carja Wanderer, Nora Sentinel and Nora Tracker armor.

Although the game offers an incredible experience to PlayStation 5 players, developer Guerrilla Games will continue receiving feedback from the players and fixing whatever bugs may appear. If Horizon Forbidden West launches on PC at some point in the future, it better be free of bugs unless the developers want to dedicate a lot of additional time to fix them. The release on PC of Horizon Zero Dawn was a success, and its sequel will most likely follow the same path.
