Even though Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is not the sequel to Breath of the Wild that all the fans are eagerly waiting for, it's quite an interesting game for all those that want to learn more about Link's story. It's quite true that the gameplay style of the game developed by Omega Force is completely different from what the fans of The Legend of Zelda are used to. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity emphasizes action and combat over other factors, but still allows the players to discover more about the events that took place a hundred years before Breath of the Wild and learn about Hyrule's past in an epic adventure.
All that said, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was one of the points of interest during yesterdays Nintendo Direct, and the Japanese company revealed the type of content that is coming to the game in the upcoming months via an Expansion Pass.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass will include two waves of downloadable content. The first one is coming May 28, 2021, and it will expand the roster of playable characters in the game, also adding new enemies, weapons, and challenges in the Royal Ancient Lab. Later, in November, the second batch of content will include new characters, stages, character vignettes, and skills. If you purchase Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass from May 28, you will also receive an exclusive weapon and a costume for Link in the game.
