Is Oddworld: Soulstorm coming to Xbox soon?

Oddworld: Soulstorm was released two months ago, and it continues the story of Abe and his fellow Mudokons. It's been more than six years since the series had a new installment, the last one being Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! which was released in 2014. On 6 April, fans were able to reunite with the special character known to anyone who has ever owned a Playstation 1, but the game is not just for Sony console owners. As as well as being playable on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, Oddworld: Soulstorm is also available on PC, but it may well be coming to Microsoft's consoles in the near future.

Indeed, the game was spotted by Gematsu on the ESRB website, which lists, rates and classifies games to establish an age rating according to certain criteria and themes such as violence, sex, alcohol, drugs or even the language used in the game. We can see that Oddworld: Soulstorm is listed on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The potential release of the game on Microsoft's consoles had been tentatively mentioned, without giving us a date or even a release window. On top of that, it was highly likely that Oddworld: Soulstorm would be released on Xbox at some point, as this was the case for its predecessor. This seems to be the confirmation, although no official statement has been made about it yet, and no release date is known.

The release date should not take too long to be made public since ESRB ratings usually take place shortly before the games are released. On top of that, E3 will be taking place very soon, from June 12th, and it's not impossible that we'll hear about Oddworld: Soulstorm, maybe during the Xbox conference, who knows?
