Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has been delayed to 2025

The success of a game doesn't always guarantee that the development of its sequel will be smooth. Warhorse Studios nailed it with Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and now it's having some trouble with the second installment in the series. The story-driven immersive medieval RPG offered players a massive open world to explore as the son of a blacksmith whose family and friends were slaughtered during a civil war. Immersive gameplay, total freedom to tackle a non-linear story as you pleased, and a challenging combat system were enough to convince many players, and the first game received very positive reviews. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II aims to surpass its predecessor in all aspects with the second chapter in Henry's story and other exciting new features.

Coming next February

The release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was originally scheduled for 2024. Unfortunately, developer Warhorse Studios needs more time to polish the game and bring it to the appropriate quality level before it's available to play. As a result, the studio has announced that the new release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is 11 February 2025. The wait will be a bit long, but the studio has also promised to reveal many details and information about the game in the coming months, starting with a 20-minute gameplay showcase to be shown at Gamescom 2024.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II promises to be bigger and better, and this time the studio won't be short on funding to make the game. It will be interesting to see what Warhorse can do with enough backing.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
