Konami is hosting a PES 2022 open beta on consoles

With the UEFA Euro in full swing, Konami has just made an announcement that without any doubt will delight all football fans. After announcing their partnership with SSC Napoli, for which Konami now holds exclusive rights for the 2022/2023 season,  which therefore means that the club will be integrated into PES 2022, we discovered today that there's a beta available on consoles for the successor of eFootball PES 2021

KONAMI is proud to announce that a new football experience is on its way!
To prepare for its launch, we'll be running an open beta prior to the game's official launch, as described below.
The purpose of this beta test is to evaluate the quality of the online matchmaking and connection to the servers.
Please note that gameplay mechanics, balancing, animations, and graphics are all under development and will be improved before the official launch.
With all that out of the way, we would like to invite you to participate in this open beta, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could share with us your thoughts and feedback on your experience.

The exact name of the game has not been revealed yet, and this test is called the "New Football Game Online Performance Test", but it is quite likely that the new game will be called eFootball PES 2022, or something similar. What we do know is that this beta allows you to get a taste of the game, with four of the teams that will be present at the release: Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United. The event also allows Konami to test its servers, which is quite important since this eFootball PES 2022 is developed on a new engine, the Unreal Engine.

No official name or release date for the new game have been revealed yet, but Konami has confirmed that eFootball PES 2022 will be presented on July 21st. We don't know what to expect yet but we should have images of the game and a release date, which should logically be released in September. To participate in the beta and find out how to install it on Xbox One, Xbox X/S, PS5, and PS4, you can visit the dedicated F.A.Q on Konami's website. The beta is available already and it will end on July 8th.
