Mafia 3 will take us to New Bourdeaux in 1968, a fictional recreation of New Orleans where as Lincoln Clay we will try to create our own criminal organization in order to take revenge from italian mob. The game is set for release on October 7th this year but 2K Games has decided to unveil the contents of the collector's edition for the third installment of the Mafia series already. Other than the full game, the Season Pass, a 56-page art-book, Lincoln clay replica dog tags, exclusive art pics and faux leather coasters, the collector's edition comes with an exclusive two-LP vinyl soundtrack and score collection, featuring the game music and songs from Otis Redding, Carla Thomas, and The Animals among other greatest hits from the 1960s. More detail's on 2k blog.
Along with that information, 2K has also announced the return of Mafia II to the market. The game was removed off Steam last summer without any explanation and now it's back again with a very nice 80% discount on both Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions and the three DLC available for the title. The deal will last until June 8th, so it's a great opportunity to check the series before the release of the new installment if you haven't already.
