Marvel's Avengers will launch on next-gen consoles next month

Marvel's Avengers capitalizes on the huge popularity of the films to deliver an exciting experience that will put you in control of some of the most powerful heroes of the Marvel universe. The game has become a favorite of the fans of Marvel Comics since it was released in September 2020, but even though the graphics are quite nice, there are a lot of players that have been waiting for the next-gen version of Marvel's Avengers to be released in order to take advantage of the new consoles' capabilities.

Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have just confirmed that the release of Marvel's Avengers on PlayStation 5 and Xbox One Series X/S will take place on March 18. If you already own the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One you are entitled to a free upgrade to its next-gen version as soon as it's available. You will also be able to transfer your saved games, so you won't lose any progress.

The release of the new version will be accompanied by a new DLC that will introduce one of the most iconic Avengers into the game. Clint Barton, known as Hawkeye, will join the group of superheroes that you can play in Marvel's Avengers. Equipped with his bow and special arrows, he is able to deal with enemies from afar in multiple ways. The DLC Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect will also add a new storyline that will pit our heroes against a new villain: Maestro.

The DLC will be free for all those that own the game on any platform, so it will be a great bonus for those that don't have Marvel's Avengers yet and are planning to give it a try on their brand new next-gen consoles.
