Monster Hunter Rise demo hits PC this month

Monster Hunter Rise demo hits PC this month

Capcom has finally decided to allow players to enjoy Monster Hunter Rise on platforms other than Nintendo Switch. The announcement was made yesterday at the Tokyo Game Show 2021, and it was received with joy by the fans of the series. Monster Hunter Rise is a new take on the popular franchise that introduces new mechanics never seen before. The most significant addition is Wyvern Riding, which allows you to tame and ride powerful monsters and use them in combat, becoming a favorite of the fans quite fast.

Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PC on January 12, 2022, so we will still have to wait a few months to play it. Fortunately, Capcom revealed a new video yesterday showing how the Steam version of the game looks on 4K at 60 FPS.

Monster Hunter Rise demo and other surprises

But Capcom had another surprise in store for us, and it revealed that a demo of Monster Hunter Rise would be available on PC this month via Steam. It will be possible to give the game a try for free on Valve's platform starting on October 13, which will be enough for you to figure out if you should buy the game on not. The demo will give you access to several hunting options whether you prefer to play solo or in multiplayer online mode. To sweeten the deal, Monster Hunter Rise will include all the significant updates released for Nintendo Switch when it becomes available on PC, and the recently-announced expansion Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will launch on both platforms next summer.
