Monster Hunter Rise demo is available on Steam

We recently told you that Monster Hunter Rise was finally coming to PC. The latest installment of the renowned action-adventure series was initially exclusive to Nintendo Switch, but Capcom has opted for looking for greener pastures elsewhere, and players worldwide have access to a demo of Monster Hunter Rise on Steam ahead of a future release. The announcement was made via the official Twitter of Monster Hunter, and you just have to visit Valve's platform and download the demo to immerse yourself in a fantasy world full of giant monsters.

The PC version of Monster Hunter Rise will include all the features that have made the game a hit on Nintendo Switch. Of course, you can't expect to have the same type of interaction with the Joy-Cons and other functionalities exclusive to Switch. Still, overall the content in the demo is enough for you to get a good feeling of what awaits you when the game is released next year. Monster Hunter Rise also takes advantage of the superior capabilities of the PC when it comes to graphics, and it features 4K resolution, support for ultrawide displays, and more graphic options. The demo gives you access to 14 different weapons and includes a wide variety of monsters for you to hunt.

If you are willing to become an expert monster hunter, you should take advantage of this opportunity and play the free Monster Hunter Rise demo already. It will be a great way of training for your future endeavors. Capcom has not confirmed if your progress will carry over after launch, but it will be a great way of learning about the behavior of the different beasts that you will hunt once the full version of the game becomes available on January 12th.
