The Monster Hunter Wilds open beta kicks off next week

Whether you are a fan of the Monster Hunter series or not, you will have the opportunity to try the next installment in the popular action series next week. Capcom will host an open beta event that will allow any players interested to delve into the universe of Monster Hunter Wilds. The announcement was made recently during a new showcase of the game that revealed some exciting footage to prepare you for the upcoming event.

The Monster Hunter Wilds open beta event will be split into three different experiences. All players will have access to the character creation tool which will also allow them to transfer their saved data to the game once it's released. When it comes to the game's campaign, those participating in the beta will learn the ropes of the game during a Chatacabra hunt that works as a tutorial. Then, they will explore the Windward Plains while they hunt down the Alpha of a Doshaguma pack. You can enjoy any of the experiences in the beta solo, but if its too challenging for you you can enlist the help of AI-controlled hunters or other players in cooperative multiplayer online.

 

 

The Monster Hunter Wilds open beta will run from October 31 to November 3 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. However, if you are subscribed to the PlayStation Plus service you will be able to join the beta on October 28. No matter which platform you choose to play the beta, you will be able to meet your friends on other platforms as the event will feature crossplay across all platforms.
