Monster Hunter World celebrates its sales numbers with a free item pack

Capcom is quite happy with the number of Monster Hunter World units they are shipping. The company has just reached 13 million units shipped worldwide of the last installment in the Monster Hunter franchise and to celebrate it they are giving away several in-game items. All this has been announced in the official twitter account of the game.

Hunters, we've hit another big #MHWorld milestone: 13 million units shipped worldwide! ❤️

We're celebrating by giving everyone a special item pack! Look out for these useful items when you claim your Daily Login Bonus between July 25 and August 29. pic.twitter.com/lUtqaWHhxk

To get the free items, you just have to log in to Monster Hunter World between July 25 and August 29 and claim the daily rewards. Along with the normal items, you will get an Attack Jewel, 13 Appreciation Tickets, 13 Silver Eggs, three Gold Wyvern Print, and three Heavy Armor Spheres. Some people have been wondering about what kind of impact the launch of Dauntless a couple of months ago would have on Monster Hunter World. Both games share some similarities, and many people thought that Phoenix Labs's free-to-play title could cause trouble to Capcom. It seems that the sales of Monster Hunter World keep rising steadily, so it doesn´t look like Dauntless has had any impact on them. It may even have served to generate some interest around Capcom´s franchise, or maybe it´s just that the upcoming launch of the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion is attracting players to the game.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will launch on September 6th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will add a huge snowy area to the main game. Players will discover new monsters to hunt, new weapons to use and many other secrets as they explore the vast territory of Hoarfrost Reach.
