We already talked about it a few weeks ago. A new Monster Hunter World: Iceborne update is about to be released and this time it's going to be the last one planned by the developers. Capcom has published a new video that shows in detail the different types of armor and customization options that this update will bring to the game. The video also shows the powerful dragon Fatalis in all his might along with arch-tempered Velkhana, the two new giant monsters coming in this update. You will be able to craft two sets of armor with the materials obtained from Fatalis remains if you manage to defeat him and just one set of armor from Velkhana. Of course, every set of armor will boost your stats in different ways. The video also let us take a peek at the upcoming Halloween event coming to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, the Fun Fright Fest, which will start on October 16th.
The update also brings a series of gameplay changes and enhancements to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and it will be the last big update for the game. You can check the complete patch notes here and download the update starting tomorrow. After that, Capcom will be focusing on other projects, like Monster Hunter Rise, a new action-RPG that was announced recently and is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.
