Mortal Kombat 11 story trailer is out

The clock keeps ticking, April 23 keeps getting closer and with it, the highly anticipated release of Mortal Kombat 11 too. So far we have seen several fighters confirmed as part of the roster in this new installment of the fighting series, but today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have published a new video that unveils part of the story of the game.

The apparition of the mysterious Kronika recruiting allies from different eras to assist her in changing the temporal line is a good indicator of the chaos that will follow. It seems that she is not quite happy after the events in Mortal Kombat X where Dark Raiden claimed victory over Shinnok, and she thinks that's enough reason to start another war between the Netherrealm and the Earthrealm. Well-known fighters from previous titles appear in the trailer, but it also serves to confirm the apparition of three new fighters in the title. Cassie Cage, Jacqui Briggs, and Erron Black show us some of their combat moves and cool fatalities in the video. So what should we expect from Mortal Kombat 11? Definitely not a drama or anything. The abilities of the keeper of time are just the perfect way of setting in motion a thrilling action story that serves as an excuse to see the comeback of old Mortal Kombat legends. From there, Mortal Kombat 11 offers you all that you can expect from a new installment of the Mortal Kombat series, including dark, violent fights, impressive moves, and bloody fatalities.

Mortal Kombat 11 is coming to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on April 23. You can already look for the best prices on our comparator.
