Necromunda: Hired Gun shows its brutal gameplay in a new video

Games Workshop's tabletop miniature games have been a source of inspiration for many video game developers. From Total War: Warhammer to Dawn of War, there are plenty of ways of immersing yourself into the universes of Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K through video games, and each of them offers a different perspective of the conflict between the forces of order and chaos. But on this occasion, we are specifically talking about Necromunda, a miniature game that focuses on the struggle for power of the different gangs in a huge hive city. Last year, we could finally have a better look at this scenario thanks to Necromunda: Underhive Wars, a third-person tactical strategy game with role-playing elements that allow us to control one of these gags as they fight to recover lost technology and valuable resources from the depts of the city of Necromunda. But a new game based on the same world will be released soon.

Necromunda: Hired Gun takes a more personal approach to the action. It's a first-person shooting game that puts you in the shoes of a bounty hunter that tries to earn his keep in the dangerous levels of this violent city. Surviving in Necromunda is hard, but when your job is to hunt down some of the worse scum in the place, you are on a completely different level. It does not matter if it's a vicious gager, a heretic that plots against the Emperor, or even a foul creature mutated by the influence of chaos, once they are marked you will hunt them down mercilessly with the aid of your trusty cyber-mastiff. Of course, in Necromunda: Hired Gun you have a wide range of cybernetic augmentations and weapons at your disposal, which you can upgrade as you collect bounties and progress through the game.

Necromunda: Hired Gun offers you a different view of life in an industrial hive city in the 40th millennium with frenetic, action-ed gameplay and plenty of targets to hunt. Its release is scheduled for June 1st, 2021 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can find it at the best price already on our comparator.
