Need For Speed Unbound Volume 2 revealed

Despite only releasing last year, Need for Speed Unbound is shaping up to be even bigger and better with the release of Volume 2. With this new update, racers can expect new challenges, cars, upgrades, events, cosmetics, and multiplayer modes. And that is only the beginning. But first, check out the Need for Speed Unbound - Volume 2 trailer below.

Time to burn rubber

Need for Speed Unbound takes place in the streets of Lakeshore City, where your character sets out to make a name for themselves as a racer. With the arrival of Volume 2, players will now have more options for gameplay, so let’s take a look under the hood.

Firstly, cops patrolling Lakeshore will chase you down if they find you street racing. This creates a multiplayer mode wherein you have to outrun the police, earning Bank when you do. Stopping the cops from chasing your co-players will also net you assist points.

There’s also something new to do each time you log into the game. Every day, there are three new challenges for you out of a total of 40 new ones. Complete them and you get both Bank and XP.

When the game first launched, there was a noticeable lack of multiplayer game modes. With Volume 2, you get two additional ones: Rumble and Endurance. There are two Rumble playlists with three races each as well as four Endurance events. You also have three new cars at your disposal: the 2021 Mercedes Maybach S Class, the 2021 Lotus Emira Balmain Epic Custom Build, and the 1971 Nissan Fairlady ZG Epic Custom Build. Finally, you get extra banner stickers, driving effects, and poses for your character.
