The Nintendo Direct Mini showcases several third-party games

Nintendo held an edition of Nintendo Direct Mini, a broadcast focused on unveiling new third-party games for the Switch. Lasting about 25 minutes, the event showed new trailers for games such as Monter Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Sonic Frontiers, No Man's Sky, and Portal Collection.

Among the revelations were confirmed rumors of NieR: Automata and Persona for Switch and a release date for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Capcom introduced another collection of our favorite blue robot with Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Volume 1 and 2.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

The Monster Hunter Rise expansion arrives on June 30 for the Switch. The game got a new trailer showing more about the monsters and missions. It also shared a roadmap showing what's coming to the game as free updates and announced a demo already available for the handheld.

NieR: Automata The End of Yorha Edition

The post-apocalyptic action RPG will launch on October 6 for the Switch with new modes and costumes, including exclusive cosmetic items. NieR players learn to enjoy life after witnessing a peculiar but lovely philosophical narrative.

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection

The Mega Man tactical RPG saga has received its collection. It will feature 10 games from the Mega Man Battle Network series for the Gamey Boy Advance. The digital versions will be divided into two volumes. Volume 1 will include the first game up to the two versions of the third game. The second volume will have the two versions of Mega Man Battle Network 4, 5, and 6. The physical version will bring all the fun in one package. It will release for Switch (and other platforms) in 2023.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope confirmed its release date after we announced its leak: October 20, 2022, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. Sparks of Hope builds on the foundations of the first Mario + Rabbids to go further. The second game in the franchise takes as its main inspiration the universe created by Super Mario Galaxy.

Sonic Frontiers

Promised for the 2022 holiday, Sonic Frontiers has been given another video showing gameplay and a bit of history. The open-world game takes inspiration from others of the same genre but seems to have been inspired by the one that acts as a benchmark for the others: Zelda Breath of the Wild
