Nintendo Treehouse reveals plenty of details about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

The upcoming release of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity on Nintendo Switch is quite anticipated by the fans of the Legend of Zelda series. We could watch a preview of the gameplay during the presentation of the game on the occasion of the Tokyo Games Show and it looked quite good, even though it was only available in Japanese.

Just yesterday we got to enjoy a new gameplay demonstration of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity during the latest Nintendo Treehouse, this time in English. In particular, we could learn a bit more about the combats in the game and the powers of Urbosa, who is able to wield electricity to defeat his enemies. In the live stream, we could also see her defending the same Gerudo village that we could visit in Breath of The Wild. The video also reveals a little more about the abilities of Zelda, who seems capable of using a mixture of all the powers of the other heroes by using the Sheika tablet. Link and Impa also appear in the video.

This Nintendo Treehouse also allowed us to have a first look at the map of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which is identical to that of Breath of the Wild. This time we won´t be able to explore it as we please since the game does not take place in an open world. Finally, one aspect that will no doubt delight players who can't wait to play Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, is that guns won't break in this game. This specific mechanic got many players frustrated in the last installment of The Legend of Zelda series, but in this game, it will be absent, and it will even be possible to improve weapons in a forge.

Many more details have been revealed, and you can check them out in the video above. If you are looking forward to the release of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity on November 20 on Nintendo Switch, do not hesitate to visit our comparator to get it at the best price.
