Rainbow Six Siege is free this weekend

Ubisoft has just announced a new free weekend for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It´s not strange for them to choose exactly this weekend for this kind of event if we consider that a major Rainbow Six Siege championship is being held this weekend in Paris. Six Major Paris 2018 is the second big championship of the year for Ubisoft's FPS, it marks the middle point of the Season 8 of the Pro League regular season, and it will have 16 of the best teams in the world competing to win their share of share of a $350,000 prize pool. You can watch the event on the Rainbow Six Siege Twitch channel. During the event, the contents of the upcoming update for Rainbow Six Siege will be revealed too. Operation Gim Sky will add two new operators to the game, along with the reworking of the Hereford Base map.

Latest Rainbow Six Siege free weekend will start on Thursday 16 of August and it will run through the whole weekend until Monday 20th, but you can preload the game on your PC as early as tomorrow. Those participating will have access to the whole game, including all maps, operators, and game modes. As usual, any progress obtained during the free weekend will be saved in case you decide to purchase Rainbow Six Siege later.
