Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Crimson Heist is live

Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Crimson Heist is live

It was revealed last month via a short teaser that was followed by a more complete live-stream on Twitch, Crimson Heist is the name of the new operation and the new season of Rainbow Six Siege. The game is already entering its sixth year in 2021, but it hasn't aged a single bit and Ubisoft is always adding new content, including the first season of this year. It's been tested for several weeks already, but Operation Crimson Heist lands today on PC (2 p.m.), Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S (3 p.m.), and finally on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 (4 p.m.).

This new season of Rainbow Six Siege brings a new agent, of course. This time it's Flores, an attacker coming straight from Argentina that has more than one trick up his sleeve. He is equipped with the RCE-Ratero charge, which is a drone that can be controlled remotely to get as close as possible to enemies and then explode. In particular, it allows you to destroy all gadgets and destructible walls within a certain perimeter, so it is a great ally in combat.

But Flores isn't the only Rainbow Six Siege addition that comes with Operation Crimson Heist. The Border map has been modified to provide a new experience:

Border has been reworked to improve gameplay and quality of life for players. 1F Bathroom has been expanded to provide a soft wall between the 1F Bathroom and 1F Tellers bomb sites, and the 2F Archives bomb site has been extended into 2F Offices. In addition, an interior balcony now connects East Stairs to 2F Break Room, and a new exterior staircase leads to the 2F Archives balcony.

In addition to this, the Gonne-6, a new secondary weapon, is available, and other improvements and changes have been made to Rainbow Six Siege, such as the redesign of the Novice category. You can check out all of the Crimson Heist Season content on the official website of the game.
