Rainbow Six Siege teaser officially hints an Australian theme

Ubisoft has published a teaser for their tactical shooting game Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege in their official Twitter account today. With this hint, many are eager and expecting to learn more of the content coming in the following weeks. The rumors of an Australian themed Rainbow Six Siege started when a post from Reddit leaked an image of the two Y4S1 operators. The shot was blurry but the pair showing an Australian flag was hard to miss. Although no official confirmation was announced, many were already pretty much convinced and some others were still in doubt - but not anymore. In their Twitter account(@Rainbow6Game), they shared a GIF featuring a kangaroo crossing sign. Nope, they're no longer keeping it as a secret folks! This is already your biggest hint that Rainbow Six Siege Year 4 is set in the land down under, Australia.

Aside from that, we know from this teaser that this year's operators are Australian. This follows their typical trend of getting two operators from the country that the game is located. This is done primarily to feature the origin, training, and other necessary information of the country that the game is set, to make it more realistic. The Year 4 road map is expected to debut in the Six Invitation in Montreal this February 17, 2019. More details will be announced there so stay tuned for more updates.
