One of the most eagerly awaited games of the year is Red Dead Redemption 2. While the game launched on consoles a while ago, a lot of players have been waiting for Rockstar Games to release the PC version of the game. The better graphics that the PCs are able to display due to their more powerful engines make them the gaming platform of choice for many players, but sometimes you have to wait a bit longer to play your favorite game or even suffer problems with your version.
This is precisely what has happened to Red Dead Redemption 2. The PC version of Rockstar's adventure game has been plagued with all kinds of issues since it was released, including unexpected crashes, unnecessary CPU usage, and plenty of problems with DirectX 12. Fortunately, the developers are working full time and putting a great effort into fixing those problems. Following the good number of hotfixes and stability fixes that we have seen in the past few days, Rockstar Launcher and Red Dead Redemption 2 are getting an update today. Hopefully, it will solve certain issues with anti-virus software that were causing the game to crash.
If you already own Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC and you are suffering those problems, you should keep an eye on Twitter, where Rockstar Games' support is publishing all the news regarding the fixes and updates.

The main campaign of the game offers you a great story and gameplay experience in a world that represents with detail what you would expect to find in a typical film of the Western genre. But the true adventure begins when you jump into the Red Dead Online multiplayer, which offers you true freedom to do whatever you want in the game. We can only hope that the developers manage to fix everything soon and that Red Dead Redemption 2 PC has the same success on PC that it has on consoles.
