The Warhammer 40,000 universe continues to be a favorite of the fans and there are quite a few games that have managed to captivate its essence one way or another. Among those, the original Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine offered a unique third-person shooter experience with the righteous warriors of the Empire of Man as protagonists. Now, Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive are ready to release its sequel and have confirmed that you have the opportunity to give Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 a try ahead of release in an upcoming beta event.

Lieutenant Titus is back

The legendary Lieutenant of the Ultramarines 2nd Company will find himself immersed in another all-out war against the Tyranids in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The superhuman warrior will relentlessly decimate hordes of fearsome devourers at Planet Avarax in a new epic adventure. With powerful weapons at his disposal, including bolters and chainswords, Titus will obliterate hormagants, termagants, and tyranid warriors alike while progressing through a challenging campaign. You can get a better idea of what expects you in the game by watching the latest Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 video, which contains almost nine minutes of extended gameplay footage.

The fans of the original Space Marine will be happy to know that the sequel will follow the steps of its predecessor but with some novelties. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will feature a cooperative campaign mode that supports up to three players, opening up a world of new possibilities in the battle against the Tyranids.

If you want to give the game a try ahead of release, you can sign up for the beta that will take place later this year.
