Solasta: Crown of the Magister adds a new class

Solasta: Crown of the Magister has demonstrated to be quite a good role-playing game for those that love Dungeons and Dragons. The game adapts the tabletop experience to a digital setting with great accuracy and makes use of the 5th Edition rules to deliver an epic adventure for a team of four characters, allowing them to explore long-forgotten dungeons created by an old cataclysm in order to stop it from happening again. Turn-based tactical combat, good storytelling, a mysterious world to explore, and a dungeon editor that allows you to create your own content aside from the campaign are just some of the features in Solasta: Crown of the Magister, but the game is about to receive additional content via a big update.

The first major patch for Solasta: Crown of the Magister will add a new difficulty mode, Iron Man, along with a brand new class: the Sorcerer. These spellcasters have an innate connection with magic thanks to their bloodlines and they have access to spells in a natural way, instead of having to study them like Wizards. Depending on the origin of their powers, Sorcerers can be of Draconic Bloodline, Children of the Rift, or Mana Painters. Each of those options brings different traits and powers with them as you level up your character, adding a new world of possibilities to Solasta: Crown of the Magister in terms of gameplay choices.

The update also brings some changes to the Dungeon Maker, allowing you to use three new environments in your designs, including sewers, catacombs, and woodlands, as well as fixing plenty of bugs. You will have to wait until next week to play as a Sorcerer in Solasta: Crown of the Magister as the release of the patch is scheduled for July 13th.
