Starfield update fix stability issues

Despite its incredible numbers, which have made Starfield the biggest launch of Bethesda Softworks ever, the epic space exploration adventure is not free of problems. There are small bugs and the creators of Fallout 4 are already working on fixing them but the priority in their list is game stability, and they have already taken steps towards fixing the issues some players are having while playing the game. The first hotfix for Starfield has been released already and it introduces a series of changes to improve stability, reduce crashes, and improve framerate.

Many changes to come

That is just the tip of the iceberg according to Bethesda. The studio is keeping track of the requests from the community and plans to introduce changes to the game in future updates. It has even revealed a small list of what's to come in a series of upcoming updates that will arrive progressively during the following weeks. The additions include brightness and contrast controls, HDR calibration menu, FOV slider, Nvidia DLSS and 32:9 Ultrawide Monitor Support (PC), and a button to eat food.

The studio also encourages Starfield players to keep providing them with feedback about the features they want to see included in the game and confirms that it's working on releasing modding tools that will work across all platforms, just like it did with Skyrim and Fallout 4, two games that have grown a lot thanks to the content created by the fans. These will be arriving sometime in early 2024.

Starfield is one of the most anticipated games of 2023 and one of the best space adventures ever released. The game lays at your feet a vast galaxy to be explored and allows you to do it however you see fit despite having an exciting storyline that you can follow if you want.
