During the last few months, many players have had the opportunity of getting Watch Dogs and its sequel for free on PC. Although playing those two games is not needed to fully enjoy Watch Dogs Legion, they allow you to understand the nature of DedSec, the group of hackers that serves as a base for the story in all the games in the series. Due to the upcoming launch of Watch Dogs Legion, developer Ubisoft has just released a new video that gives us an overview of the situation in London while it also shows some of the innovative features in the game. as an example, in Watch Dogs Legion you can recruit almost any citizen to join DedSec and they will become an important asset for the organization in its fight to free the city from the control of private companies that have turned the place into a police state.
Alongside the story trailer, Ubisoft has also revealed its plans for Watch Dogs Legion after the release of the game this month. Those plans include free content, a Season Pass, and a brand new Online mode that will be added to the game on December 3.
The free content will include characters, new missions for the single-player mode, and also a New Game+ mode, and they will arrive at some point next year. Watch Dogs Legion Season Pass will include even more missions and the original Watch Dogs Complete Edition, and it will give you access to a questline to unlock Aiden Pierce, Wrench, and two other new characters in the game.
Watch Dogs Legion Online mode will arrive as a free update and it will include cooperative multiplayer for up to four players online with a variety of new missions that will require teamwork. This update will also add the first PvP mode to the game, in which you will control spider robots that fight to be the last one standing in a multiplayer arena.
Watch Dogs Legion will be available on October 29 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on PC via Epic Games Store and Uplay. It's coming to next-gen consoles on their release.
