Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will bring The Citadel

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will bring The Citadel

There were some doubts about Monster Hunter Rise at launch, but the game has demonstrated that it's a perfectly suitable title for other platforms than Nintendo Switch. In fact, the game is doing quite well on PC, and the upcoming Sunbreak expansion will launch on both platforms next June. Monster Hunter Rise offers a different type of approach to the gameplay than Monster Hunter World, and adds a series of interesting features, including Wyvern riding, which have made the game quite popular among the fans of the franchise.

A big expansion

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak promises to expand the world of the game with new territories and monsters. Capcom has published a video that gives us some insight into The Citadel, a new part of the kingdom that has a huge ruined castle at its center. This castle is surrounded by a wide variety of biomes, including forests, a swamp, and mountains, and it's one of the locations that you will have to explore if you want to complete the new Master Hunter Rank quests coming with the expansion.

But The Citadel is not the only Sunbreak content that is receiving attention this week. Capcom has published another video showcasing one of the new monsters that you will be able to hunt down in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Garangolm is a gigantic ape-like creature whose mighty roar and devastating strikes can make the ground shake. As you can see in the video below, it will pose quite a challenge, even for experienced hunters.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak promises to be the perfect addition to the main game when it releases on June 30, 2022, for PC and Nintendo Switch. Remember that you can find both Monster Hunter Rise and its expansion Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak cheap on our comparator anytime.
