Takeda is the new DLC fighter in Mortal Kombat 1

It's been quite a few years since the first installment in the series was released, but Mortal Kombat has aged very well and continues to be a favourite of the fans of fighting video games. Its extreme level of violence, whose maximum exponent is represented in the form of Fatalities, has never been a problem and it's undoubtedly one of the keys to the series' popularity alongside its exciting gameplay features and thrilling combat system. Mortal Kombat 1 rebooted the series' history and offered players a completely different universe to play at, becoming a big hit right after it was released. After that, many fighters were added to the game, and developer NetherRealm Studios doesn't plan to stop adding more anytime soon.

Takeda joins the fray

NetherRealm has released a gameplay trailer for Takeda Takahashi, the new DLC fighter coming to Mortal Kombat 1 on July 23. He is a new character that will be available as a standalone purchase but it will also be included in the Kombat Pack. Rumour has it that it will be followed by other fighters like Noob Saibot, T-1000, Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian, Cyrax, and Sektor, but this has not been officially confirmed yet. In any case, you can have a first peek at Takeda's incredible movements in a new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer.
