Nexon and Neople have unveiled extended gameplay footage for their upcoming hardcore action RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan, along with a behind-the-scenes video that delves into the protagonist's backstory within the DNF Duel (Dungeon & Fighter) universe. Additionally, the studio shared the game's worldwide release window, confirming that The First Berserker: Khazan is set to launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam.

The extended gameplay footage in the new trailer showcases the first 15 minutes of The First Berserker: Khazan. In intense action, the titular character battles various soldiers, monsters, and beasts, using precise movements in a tundra after escaping his exile. Following a series of 3D animated scenes unique to Neople, the clip culminates in a face-to-face encounter with the game's first formidable boss, pushing players to hone their strategic combat skills to overcome the challenge.

Nexon and Neople also revealed a behind-the-scenes video that explores Khazan's story within the broader DNF universe, highlighting key figures and providing additional context for its engaging narrative. The video shows that Khazan transitioned from being a barbarian to the Great General of Pell Los, revered as a hero of the Empire, before being falsely accused of treason by the emperor and exiled to the mountains. On his quest for vengeance, he encounters the mysterious Blade Phantom, who grants him new powers along the way.

First unveiled at The Game Awards in 2023, The First Berserker: Khazan tells the story of Great General Khazan, the ancestor of all slayers after he is falsely accused of treason. In this hardcore action RPG, thrilling combat takes center stage at every step of Khazan's bloody quest for revenge against those who orchestrated his downfall, set against a dark fantasy world, rough manga-inspired visuals, and intense, ever-evolving battle styles.
