The first season of Black Ops - Cold War has been announced

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War has been a hit among the fans of the license. Quite a lot of players have abandoned Modern Warfare to play the new game and are having lots of fun with the new content. But there are even more players waiting for December 16th because that is the date when the new first-person shooter from Treyarch and Raven Software is going to be integrated with Call of Duty Warzone. The free-to-play battle-royale version of Modern Warfare will receive additional content and new maps and you can get some insight into what kind of content is coming next week thanks to the announcement video for Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War Season One.

Although it is a cinematic trailer that doesn't show any kind of gameplay, it teases Rebirth Island, which is a new map that will become available in Warzone and will probably have quite a lot of similarities with the Alcatraz map from Blackout, so you can expect intense fights at close range and lots of fun. The other important thing revealed in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War Season One announcement video is the new operator coming to the game. His name is Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin and the leader of the Nova 6 project, whose aim is to develop a lethal gas. The project was shut down 20 years ago but Stitch seems to have continued producing Nova 6 in secret using the facilities at Rebirth Island.

These additions and more are coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War and Call of Duty Warzone on December 16th and they will be added through a free update that will also serve to kick off Season One. More information will be revealed through the next few days so don't forget to come back to know all the novelties.
