The Lord of the Rings: Gollum introduces its characters

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was announced one year ago and it's currently being developed by Daedalic. The release is scheduled for 2022 on PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. In other words, everyone will be able to enjoy it.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will take fans once again into the fantasy world created by Tolkien. Other games based on the Lord of the Rings saga have been released in the past, but none have yet offered the experience that you will be able to enjoy in The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which, as the name suggests, will feature the character of Gollum, with all his complexity and nuance. We've already seen a few images from the game, and even a gameplay video, but now we can learn a little more about the game. Harald Riegler, producer at Daedalic, reveals some interesting information in a new video.

In particular, we discover new environments. Indeed, in the first gameplay video, we only saw Mordor. But The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will offer us a variety of settings to explore, including the mines of Moria and the Forest of Great Fear, or Black Forest. We can also see Gollum progressing through those environments, which confirms what we already knew: The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is an adventure and infiltration game with parkour-style movements that reminisce of titles such as Prince of Persia or Styx. The last detail revealed in this video is not the least important, because we discover some of the emblematic characters that will be present in the game, namely the Mouth of Sauron, whose face we can see, as well as Thranduil the king of the elves, and Gandalf.

While all of this is certainly enough to leave the mouths of the fans watering, we'll have to be patient until we can finally enjoy The Lord of the Rings: Gollum in 2022. There are many things to discover about the game ahead of the release, and we can´t wait to tell you about them.
