The PC version of Red Dead Redemption has been leaked on PSN

Sometimes the obvious can't be denied even if you make proofs vanish. The possible release of Red Dead Redemption on PC has been in the rumour mill for a while. Now, the announcement of the game has been leaked on PlayStation Network. No matter how fast they've been editing the game's description, the information presented there was spotted and shared on the internet. This time it was Wario64 account on X who shared it, and even though this is not an official confirmation and Rockstar Games is still to make an announcement on this matter, it seems pretty obvious that the first game in the popular Western series will soon be playable on PC.

You can read right below the old Red Dead Redemption description which has now been replaced with a version that says nothing about PC.

"Experience the epic western adventures that defined a generation — now on PC for the first time ever.

When federal agents threaten his family, former outlaw John Marston is forced to hunt down the gang of criminals he once called friends. Experience Marston’s journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico as he fights to bury his blood-stained past in the critically acclaimed predecessor to the 2018 blockbuster, Red Dead Redemption 2. Also included is Undead Nightmare, the iconic horror story that transforms the world of Red Dead Redemption into an apocalyptic fight for survival against a zombie horde.

Featuring the complete single-player experiences of both games, including bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition, Red Dead Redemption features all of the 2023 console version upgrades plus PC-specific enhancements including support for increased resolutions and framerates, multiple displays, and other accessories, plus spatial surround sound."

As you can see, the hypothetical PC version of Red Dead Redemption would include all the additional content released for the game, including Undead Nightmare. Also, it would feature a series of specific enhancements for PC. Even if it's just a port of the original and not a whole remaster of the game, it would be great to be able to play Red Dead Redemption on PC for all those who love its sequel. After all, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a big hit that has quite a sizeable fan base and is one of the biggest games released by Rockstar Games outside of the Grand Theft Auto series.
