Developer Respawn Entertainment has revealed the plans to come in the following months for Titanfall 2.
The sequel to 2014's FPS Titanfall is getting more content between this month and June, in the form of more maps, titans and even a new mode. More exactly, four new maps will be released during that period: two general multiplayer maps and two more maps for the Live Fire (6v6 pilots-only) mode that was released las February. Not much has been said about the new titans, other than there will be a new free one and two purchasable Prime Titans: Ronin and Thone.
Among other changes announced for the same period, Titanfall 2 will be updated with an increase of gen cap from 10 to 100, expanding Private Match settings and adding Live Fire and Coliseum to the selectable modes, as well as including a new multiplayer faction, a new game mode called Marked for Death, improvements to matchmaking line wait time, and a batch of new pilot executions, purchasable skins, camos and other goodies from the store.
Those are the general lines of what is to be expected for this Electronic Arts title in the following months. Note that most of those updates will be available at no cost for everyone that owns the game, and that opposite to its predecessor, Titanfall 2 is not exclusive to Microsoft platforms, and you can also play it on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Also, do not forget that later this month there will be more information about the contents of A Glitch in the Frontier the upcoming DLC for Titanfall 2 that was announced last week.
