Bronze Age Brawl

Total War has come a long way since its first outing in Ancient Japan. But unlike recent entries such as Total War: Warhammer III and Total War: Troy - Mythos, Total War: Pharaoh is grounded in realism and history. Set at the tail end of the Bronze Age, Pharaoh puts you in control of one of three cultures at a pivotal point in history. Each faction—Egyptian, Canaan, and Hittite—is vying for supremacy in Egypt’s arid lands.

You will also be able to choose between eight faction leaders with varying abilities and playstyles. As with previous Total War entries, you can determine how you will pursue victory—either by taking a more diplomatic path or leading your army to wreak havoc on enemy units and take over their territory.

Total War: Pharaoh will have new features to create dynamic combat scenarios. For one, the environment will play a major role, with sandstorms and thunderstorms obscuring vision and limiting the range of missile weapons. Setting fire to a settlement can destroy buildings, bring down morale, and harm both civilians and your army.

The new Campaign Customization feature will allow you to edit a campaign’s difficulty to your liking. You can change your starting locations, set the frequency of natural disasters, determine what resources you’ll receive, and more.

Total War: Pharaoh will launch in October this year for PC via Steam as well as the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are now live, so be sure to check out our price listings for a Total War: Pharaoh PC key.
