Two cat-themed games are available for free on the Epic Games Store this week

The Spring Sale on the Epic Games Store is now underway, and as part of the celebration, the store has reintroduced its mystery giveaways promotion. For the most part, March has been a pretty strong month on the Epic Games Launcher as freebies like Mortal Shell, Them’s Fightin’ Herds, and Jurassic World Evolution 2 have been given out in recent weeks.

The first week of this exciting offer is currently active, providing two cat-themed indie games for PC users to claim at no additional cost: Cat Quest and Neko Ghost, Jump!

Both titles feature cats as their main characters, fitting the theme Epic has chosen for this event. Among the two free offerings on the EGS, Cat Quest stands out as the more well-known option. Since its initial launch in 2017, Cat Quest has inspired two sequels, each enhancing many of the foundational concepts introduced in the original game.

Cat Quest is an open-world action RPG set in the land of Felingard, delivering an adventure filled with cat puns. Players take on the role of a heroic cat tasked with rescuing his kidnapped sister from a wicked foe.

Following that, we have Neko Ghost, Jump. Created by Burgos Games, this is a puzzle platformer featuring levels that require players to switch between 2D and 3D perspectives. The game boasts over 40 levels for players to tackle, with an emphasis on speedrunning for those who love it.

The giveaways for Cat Quest and Neko Ghost, Jump are currently available on the Epic Games Store for PC gamers. A new mystery giveaway will replace them next Thursday, April 3.
